There are countries in the world where parents are primarily focused on the quality of the drinks and foods that their kids consume at home, and they are not paying too much attention on what they eat in school.
However, that is not the case in Japan. In one schoolin Japan, lunch is much more than just eating. In Saitima, Japan, inthe elementary school, lunch is turned into a 45-minute educational period. It is just like they are having a readingor a math class.
These students are in factpeelingand growing their own vegetables on the school’s farm. They serve their own meals to their peers inside the classroom, and they clean everything after they’ve finished.
The best thing about this educational process is that every step in the learning process is planned, but very fun and friendly. Below you will see a video where the Japanese students are cooking fish with pear sauce, mashed potatoes and soup from five vegetables.
The best part about is that these ingredients are healthful and home-cooked. So, this video is now turning into a discussion about the quality of the lunch in American Elementary and High Schools.
